The Biggest Block Party of the Year in the Heights
Get ready for an afternoon of fun, food and festivities! Bring your family and friends to enjoy live music, delicious food from local vendors, a Pickleball tournament and children’s activities from 2PM-8PM on Washington Boulevard! Browse and shop with neighborhood artists, crafters and makers. Bid often and bid high at the WHNA Silent Auction tent.

Bid often and bid high on over 35 gift certificates, experiences, gift baskets and artwork. The Silent Auction benefits WHNA and is made possible by generous donations from neighborhood businesses and residents.
WHNA Tents
Located at 53rd & Washington Blvd.
- Visit the WHNA tent for Washington Heights branded merch: t-shirts, hats, hoodies, water bottles and more!
- Join or renew your membership at the Bash and receive a free recycled aluminum Washington Heights water bottle.
- Visit the WHNA Green Committee tent where they will be refilling your water bottle. In an effort to reduce plastic and waste, we are not selling bottled water at the Bash. Instead, bring your own water bottle and get a refill for a pay-what-you-can donation or enjoy free refills when you purchase a Washington Heights recycled aluminum water bottle at the Bash.
Food, Beverages and Shopping
2PM-8PM
New This Year – Vennture Brew Co. Beer Garden Located at 52nd & Washington Blvd. near the music stage. Browse and shop with local artists and makers up and down the Boulevard throughout the Bash. Food and beverage vendors will be spread out throughout the event area. There will be something for everyone to enjoy. Bring your own reusable shopping bag and fill it up with your purchases from the participating artists and makers.
Activities for Children
Located in front of Mount Olive
- Free art activities with Artists Working in Education (AWE) from 2PM-6PM
- Free make & take projects hosted by Mount Olive from 2PM-7:30PM
- Yard games and mega board games for everyone from 2PM-8PM

Bracketed Tournament Continues at 5:30PM until Finished

Event Street Closures
Washington Boulevard will be closed from 10AM to 9:30PM from 52nd to 54th Street on Saturday, August 24. Please plan alternative driving routes during that time. The City of Milwaukee DPW has granted WHNA permission and approved the permit for street closures related to this year’s event.
Everything you need to know about attending the Boulevard Bash
- Free to Attend
- Rain or Shine
- Bring a chair or picnic blanket.
- Bring a reusable water bottle and visit the WHNA Green Committee water station for refills (donations accepted for refills).
- Portable toilets and wash stations available within event area.
- Free street parking on surrounding side streets. Please abide by all posted signs.
- Vendors accept cash or credit card for payment.
- Children and youth under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Bring a reusable shopping bag to use at the market and to carry your silent auction items home.
- Well-behaved, leashed pets welcome. Please clean up after your pet.
- For everyone’s safety, no biking, skating or scooting in the event area, except within designated areas.
