Fall leaf rake out extended until Sunday, December 1. Full details below from DPW Milwaukee. The fall leaf collection deadline has been extended. City of Milwaukee residents now have until Sunday, December 1, 2024 to rake their leaves into the curb lanes for pick-up. The leaf rake-out period has been extended to provide residents additional time to rake leaves from trees that are experiencing a late leaf drop.Remember leaf piles should be loose in the curb lane with a one-foot gap to allow for easier collection and to enable stormwater to move to storm drains.Visit milwaukee.gov/leaves for all collection details and to see a map of where crews are currently working.
