A diversity, equality and inclusion issue in our neighborhood has been brought to our attention and we have been asked to comment on the situation. We first wanted to thank the neighbors who have come forward to raise this issue as the Washington Heights Neighborhood Board Association is inclusive and supports and values all of our LGBTQIA+ residents. ![]()
WHNA Board wants to emphasize we promote diversity, equality and inclusion in our neighborhood. Our board members are here to listen and understand the issues that are impacting our residents so we can all learn from one another, live with one another and continue to make our neighborhood a welcoming and desirable place for all who live and visit.
