The Green Brigade

Want to get some exercise, visit with your neighbors and help make Washington Park (our neighborhood treasure) look better than ever? If you do, then be part of the new WHNA Green Committee/Washington Park trash brigade.

We don’t know all of the details yet, but here’s what we do know: The group will meet at Washington Park on specific days several times a month. We want to make it family-friendly and flexible, so people can spend a half hour to two hours at a time. And we plan to have a good time while we clean the park.

Interested in learning more details? Look on the WHNA website or Nextdoor in early June. All the specifics will be posted there. So excited you can’t wait to get started? Then grab a bag and visit the park or any part of our neighborhood and pick up trash when you see it.

Remember – “It takes a village . . . “ not just to keep our children healthy and safe – but also to keep our neighborhood the beautiful and thriving community it is.
