The WHNA Green Committee is proud to present the 13th Annual Bloom & Groom Plant Sale. A variety of annual and perennial plants will be available for your garden, flower beds, vegetable garden and spring landscape projects at the sale. The plant sale takes place outdoors, rain or shine, at the Washington Heights Community Garden (2111 N. 49th Street) on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
HOW THE SALE WORKS:
- The sale begins promptly at 10AM and ends at noon (or when sold out). The sale is organized on a first come – first served basis with sale limits for each individual purchase.
- Line-up begins anytime after 9AM, the day of the sale. You’ll receive a number when you get in line to designate your turn for shopping.
- Line-Up and get your number at the NW corner of 49th & Lloyd from a Green Committee Member when you arrive.
- There will be limits on quantities of each plant type that can be purchased.
- IMPORTANT: Payment is accepted by check or cash
- Arrive on time or early for the best selection. Plants sell out fast.
- If you have plants to give-away, please drop them off prior to 10AM and make sure each container is labeled with the plant name.
LOCATION: Bloom & Groom Plant Sale takes place next to the Washington Heights Community Garden – 2111 N. 49th Street. Please note 49th Street is a one-way southbound street.
PARKING: Limited street parking on 49th Street and Lloyd Street.
The 2024 Washington Heights Bloom & Groom Plant Sale is hosted by the WHNA Green Committee with sponsorship from the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation and the City of Milwaukee.
Plants have been sourced from Minor’s Garden Center, Milwaukee for the 2024 event.
