Ope, we got a slow start to our "hallo-week of thanks" for our Spooktacular volunteers and vendors! We're still reeling from the AMAZING time we had with all of you. ![]()
Starting off day one with the first of the volunteers: Our sweet-as-can-be CANDY SORTERS! We had approximately 1300 bags of candy that were divided up and distributed to residents of area 4 who signed up to receive candy as a member benefit. ![]()
A HUGE shout out to Rachael Winkley, Zach Madlan, Shirley Tiedjen, Jane Monfre, Joscelyn Stephens, and Erin Robertson!

First and foremost- THANK YOU to all the volunteers who made this event possible. From registration, candy-sorting, pumpkin carving, spook central, security, clean up, and planning.
We will be posting each day this week with shout outs to the incredible volunteers and vendors, including Vennture Brew Co who provided a drink ticket to volunteers and Rainbow Booksellers for Children who put on one of the best costume contests we’ve ever seen and even provided prizes. ![]()
We will be collecting pictures for the people’s choice house decorating contest until this Tuesday, October 28th. Please make sure to submit a photo of your area 4 decorated house to spooktacular@whna.net and we will be posting the contestants here for people to vote on with their “like” buttons! The contest will run through Saturday at midnight and the winner announced next Sunday, November 2nd!![]()
Also 👀 in a change of pace from years past, we will be revealing next year’s area… ON SUNDAY! It will be announced with the winner of the people’s choice house decorating contest. The next area will have a full year to plan for spooktacular!
