	2009 Revised Calendar of Events Bike Blitz! More info in the brochure Saturday, May 30th 10 am to 12:30 pm New District 3 Contact Guide (Download & print it out) 3-24-09 As you may have noticed in the latest WH newsletter, there was an insert of the Uptown Crossing BID newsletter. In the BID newsletter there was an article about the public art sculpture planned for the West Triangle on North Avenue. View the brochure we are mailing seeking contributions for this project. The sculpture is approximately 80% finished and will be installed in late May or early June. We are also hosting a fundraiser/party on May 16 at Mekong Café to raise additional funds. We would welcome any and all contribution to this project.

	---------------------------------------------------- 2009 WHNA Events Calendar Updated ---------------------------------------------------- Increased Police Presence in Our Neighborhood Read the press release Update on the Third Annual Harold Radewahn Memorial Blood Drive Of the sixty registered donors, fifty were able to attend the blood drive. Thirty-eight units of blood were donated. Each unit has the potential to be used for plasma, platelets, and red cells. If the Blood Center would choose to use our units in this way one hundred-seventeen patients would be helped. This was the largest of our three drives. Many thanks for volunteering, attending and donating. Let’s make our goal for 2009 to exceed this total.
