This great neighborhood plant sale will happen on May 11^th from 9:30AM – 11:30AM on the corner of 49^thand Lloyd. A variety of annuals and perennials and hanging baskets will be sold at BARGAIN PRICES.

Because the supply is limited and prices are so reasonable, buyers will be limited to a purchase of no more than: 1 flat of annuals, 3 perennial plants and 2 hanging baskets per person. All sales will be on a first come, first served basis and will begin at 9:30AM – NOT BEFORE. All purchases are final and must be paid with cash or check.

When you come, plan to bring some extra money to buy delicious baked goods supplied by Area 3 and coffee supplied by Valentine Coffee Roasters. While you’re enjoying your breakfast goodies peruse the information booths on 49^th St. to get tips on gardening, conserving water and energy, the Bag Free Milwaukee Movement and composting.

Block Watch and Safety

The Block Watch and Safety Committee manages a crime notification system that allows group members to post information about crimes in the area. The purpose of the system is to alert residents to crimes AND to get out the word about suspicious vehicles, people etc. so that we can all be more alert and reduce the occurrence of future crimes. Don't forget the monthly Crime Watch and Safety meeting at the Third District Police Station. Usually scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6PM.
