By-Laws

Changes to the WHNA ByLaws must be approved by the membership at the annual meeting normally scheduled in May of each year. The list below organizes the bylaws by the year in which they were approved by the membership. The most current bylaws is listed first.


May 2011

Article 7
Renamed the position of President-Elect as Vice President.
Established 2 year terms for all officers
Established election of Secretary and President in even numbered years. Established election of Treasurer and Vice-President in Odd numbered years.
For those articles where President-Elect is identified, changed to Vice-President.
 
Article 15
Moved the functions of the nominating committee and finance committee to the Executive Committee. Reduced the number of standing committees from 8 to 6.
 
Article 10
Strengthened the language to protect the privacy of members in printed reports and the membership database. Prevents association for using contact information for anything but WHNA business.

Article 6
Removed "or is running for" from Article 6.3
